Founder
Jakency was created after years spent inside the traditional agency system.
Early in his career, Jake worked at a leading interactive advertising agency on large-scale digital experiences for globally recognized brands. There, he learned how ideas move through complex systems and what it takes for design to perform at scale. Later, as an in-house Creative Director, he built and led a design team from the ground up and discovered how much faster and clearer work becomes when communication travels directly, without unnecessary layers.
That path led to leadership roles as Head of Creative at multiple startups, where design operated close to the business.
Decisions moved quickly. Products evolved. Several of the companies were ultimately acquired as a result of that momentum.
Across every role, the same pattern emerged: the best work happens when strategy and execution are close enough to move as one.
Jakency formalizes that way of working. Today, Jake partners directly with growing companies and established organizations as a creative lead, bringing agency-level thinking without the red tape. Fewer layers. Faster signal. A more direct path from idea to execution.
