For the Kansas City Ballet season campaign, I was part of a creative team that developed the concept “Dance Moves You,” capturing the emotional and physical impact of movement. To bring the idea to life, we designed a visual system where expressive typography intertwines with dancers’ poses—mirroring the grace, rhythm, and energy of ballet. The result is a bold and modern campaign, rich with motion and emotion, where type and form interact in unexpected ways. The visuals are striking, full of life, and designed to move the audience as deeply as the performances themselves.

The strategy for the Kansas City Ballet season campaign was to make the emotional impact of dance immediately visible. With the concept “Dance Moves You,” the goal was to communicate not just the beauty of ballet, but its power to connect and inspire modern audiences The creative approach merged typography and movement into one visual language. Type was designed to interact with dancers’ forms—flowing, wrapping, and responding to their poses to echo rhythm and motion in every layout. Execution focused on impact and flexibility across formats. From print to digital, the system stayed bold and legible while maintaining a sense of fluidity and life, creating a campaign that visually performs as much as the dancers themselves.
